We finished off the Bogracs Gulyas (Goulasch) from the evening before (see previous post), this time with a bottle of Rey de Los Andes Carmenére 2009 from the Sunday Times Wine Club. We usually enjoy this Chilean red with its rich blackberry fruits and spiciness and this was a reasonable match. However, we had thought that the spiciness in the wine would go well with the paprika and peppers, but the overall affect was a little lacking.
