Yet Another Spanish Red Makes an Excellent Match With Roast Lamb

We had Roast Lamb again.  That makes it two weeks in a row!  After the last enjoyable match with a Spanish red, we opened a bottle of Heredad de Baron Yecla 2005 from Sunday Times Wine Club.   Yecla is in South East Spain and they produce reds from the Monastrell (Mourvèdre) grape.  This powerful wine had intense spicy plum and blackberry favours and was a lovely match with the roast.
