We finished off the Stufato al Vino Rosso that we had leftover from Friday (see 12 November post). We decided on a Shiraz-based wine and chose the Holroyd Farm Shiraz/Petit Verdot 2007 from the Sunday Times Wine Club. This full bodied, rich and very flavoursome Aussie red with plummy, chocolaty Shiraz and blackberry and vanilla oak hints was a very good match with the stew, but not quite as good as the exceptional Sinclair Estate we tasted on 12th November.
