A Romanian Pinot Grigio Good to Drink with an Indian Takeaway

We ordered an Indian takeaway – Chicken Rezala and Garlic Chicken and opened a bottle of La Cittadella Pinot Grigio 2008 from Sunday Times Wine Club.  This Romanian white is crisp and citrussy and intensely flavoured.  There was a hint of spiciness too.  We have found Pinot Grigios a bit hit and miss with some food combinations and we think a lot depends on whether it is very light or more intense.  This one went very well with both dishes.
