A Southern French White is Good with Chicken Pilau

We had Aromatic Chicken Pilau with Cinnamon, Tomato and Nutmeg from Rick Stein and decided a white wine would be best.  We had a bottle of Tesco Finest Vin de Pays Cotes de Gascogne 2010.  It was crisp, acidic with flavours of lemon and grapefruit coming through and working well with the fragrant spices in the pilau.  An enjoyable wine and a good match.
