A Kiwi Sauvignon Proves a Good Curry Match

We chose a Chicken Curry recipe from Best Chicken Recipes.  A really good recipe, full of flavour from the coriander, ginger, lemon, tomatoes and chilli.  We thought a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc would go well.  We had a bottle of Montana Marlborough Reserve 2010 from Costco and it was a lovely match.  The crisp, citrussy, lemony flavours went well with the dish.  Some writers say avoid Sauvignons with curry, but we believe this is too much of a generalisation and we find they go very well with some.
