An Excellent Muscadet Good with a Bland Chicken Casserole

IMG_0193.JPG (2)We cooked Murray Chicken, a dish from Supercook we previously enjoyed a few years back.   It is chicken pieces casseroled with onions, turmeric, cumin, coriander, lemon juice, seasoning and chicken stock.  I think our tastes must be changing because although the dish was pleasant, we found it a bit bland.

We opened a bottle of the Society’s Muscadet Sevre et Main 2011, a French white from The Wine Society.  This was crisp, fresh with citrus lemon flavours.  A delightful wine and a good match with the food.
