Teresa roasted a lovely, full-flavoured joint of pork and served it with roast potatoes, green beans, spring greens, carrots and swedes. A nice change. We enjoyed the pork with a bottle of Arc du Rhône 2009, a Côtes du Rhône Villages red from Waitrose. The wine is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan and was smooth with black fruits and a spicy edge. The wine was full-bodied and rich but did not overwhelm this particular joint of meat. A very good match.
